Explore Our HistoryThe Bongabon Market Vendors Credit Cooperative (BMVCC) was organized on January 24, 1993 with 15 Market Vendor members from the Public Market of Bongabon.
With growing membership, the cooperative registered with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) on January 24, 1994.
The cooperative amended its Articles and By-laws, becoming the Bongabon Market Vendors Multi-Purpose Cooperative. Received a ₱1,800,000 grant from the Australian Community Assistance Program (PACAP) for the Swine Production Meat Processing Project.
With CDA’s help, the cooperative secured a ₱500,000 interest-free loan, payable in five years, to build its first building at Brgy. Commercial, Bongabon, Nueva Ecija.
In partnership with the Land Bank of the Philippines, the cooperative established Mini Banking Operations to serve the community’s financial needs.
The cooperative installed Point of Sale (POS) operations, enabling withdrawals for Senior Citizens, Government Employees, 4P’s beneficiaries, and Land Bank ATM cardholders.
During the pandemic, the cooperative became Bongabon Market Vendors and Farmers MPC (BMVFMPC), adding trading and marketing services. Entered a Coke Dealership, serving Palayan City, Laur, and Bongabon.
Partnered with NAMVESCCO to trade onions and vegetables to Manila markets, with stocks ready for traders.
With NEUST’s assistance, BMVFMPC is automating systems and promoting services. Coca-Cola supports digitalization and provides training for management staff.
Partner for Mini Banking and financial services.
Assisting with system automation and promotion.
Partner for dealership and digitalization training.
Facilitating onion and vegetable trading to Manila.
